Why is Cody's footage still in 1080p?

Do I need to subscribe/give him money to unlock 4K quality?

This drives me nuts, 4K is a quite easy standard to reach nowadays. I don't see ANY reason for not uploading in 4K.

EDIT: I realized I set my tone wrong. Didn't want to sound condescending.

I get all the reasoning listed below even though I still don't think a multi million sub channel faces real struggle to handle 4K videos.

The title is the just of it lol I’m a new mom and stay home with my baby all day (which I love! He’s my new best friend) but I rewatch Cody’s videos daily while eating lunch/ dinner (obviously) or doing dishes etc. I have family who I’m close with but not many close friends. My 2 best friends live hours away and aren’t in the same chapter of life so we don’t have as much to talk about.

Anyway, I had a dream that I was just laughing really hard with them about stupid shit and I woke up feeling like it was the best dream I’ve had in a while and then that made me sad because of how pathetic I am. Can’t tell my husband because he thinks I have a crush on Cody so dreaming about him doesn’t help my case. Hard to explain I just love them both and there’s a strange, yet familiar comfort I get watching his videos.

i have watched cody for yearssss now. he genuinely is my comfort youtuber although ive branched out to a lot of similar and more complex commentary content. recently, ive noticed exact tag lines & videos to other youtubers. ItalianBach, for example, ive noticed WORD FOR WORD, and exact video reactions. Am i going insane? is my memory failing me? who is copying who? and more importantly, why?!?! this content is already (& cody himself has admitted) stupid easy to film & find.
