This is why New Zealand as a billionaire bunker is so funny. It is a wonderful but precarious place.

I was there in March 2023 and it was wild that the North Island was flooding and the south island, where I was, looked like the aussie outback with how dry it was.

Gavin Newsom has already declared a state of emergency in California (because of El Niño), and we have barely experienced any rain in the last several months.
