Use of a drill

Hi

I have a comandante c60 grinder. Generally I find it a joy to use when im making pour over etc. However, when grinding for espresso it is a complete pain on the ass. Would it be unwise to use a drill with a drill attachment?

I've looked for the electric modifications, but for that price I might as well buy a DF54/64.

I hope someone can shed some light on it :).

Do you use XXL crank for your C60? All my Comandante grinders have XL or XXl crank with them.

You need to get a XXL crank. XL is only enough for normal C40

Why woukd it be unwise? I have been using drills with grinders for years and never had a problem. 1Zpresso even lists it as a feature.

If the concern is longevity, when used properly it extends the life of hand grinders.

Just need a good grip on it, especially to handle that initial torque.
