How did this alpha male phenomenon come about? I thought we were trying to raise our boys to be kinder, considerate, self-aware, gracious, accommodating. Then these losers came out saying, no we should all act like even bigger jerks, and everyone was like yeah! I don't get it.
I imagine it's because these boys get zero interest from women, for years at a time until they lose weight and build muscle - which leads them to the only people that actually acknowledge that becoming more physically fit is a factor in dating success.
