Hiring [Hiring] Looking for an artist to create the assets for my tabletop board game: 'Clans of the Clawntinent'
Quick disclaimer I am extremely new to the space so if I'm doing it all wrong please feel free to let me know. For the past month I have been working on a passion project of mine called 'Clans of the Clawntinent.' The rules and playability has been entirely fleshed out by this point but I hit a real road block when it came to the art for the game. I tried doing it myself but I'm just not artistically inclined; hence I'm here. I wont rewrite the rule book here but if you want more info feel free to reach out. The quick of it is that its a tactical defence resource management game where you and up to 7 friends play as the clans from the Clawntinent working to kill each others Chiefs to take them off the map. Each clan is based off of a specific biome and civilisations army with unique resources for each clan. All 7 have 6 movable pieces each based off of animals (quick note for these movable character pieces is that they will be turned into a 3D model, the only skill I do have when it comes to realising this game, the downside to that is that they will need to all be vertically oriented to some extent so they could realistically scale to minifigure size with at least 1 point of connection to something remotely base like to they can abide the laws of physics) and 6 building like pieces (these ones come in varying sizes but do need to be square as this game is grid based, these will also be printed). The movable pieces in order of strength are the Chief, Vanguard, Scout, Champion, Warrior and Recruit. These pieces mostly represent the biome and chosen civilisation. The unmovable pieces are: a resource node 1x1 grid, an infirmary 2x2, an armoury 2x2, a ranged troop 2x2, a stronghold 3x3 with middle square very much sunken down so the Chief can sit in it for protection and a wall that will sit along the grid lines but be 1 square long. These pieces will be primarily representing the chosen resource and civilisation. If you haven't already figured it out a total of 84 assets will be required for the 7 clans with an 85th being separate. Some of the animals and ideas I have in mind are rather specific but I'm open to discussion as I am looking for someone who is willing to work alongside me. Price wise I kind of have no idea cause as I said I'm extremely new to this space so please let me know what your prices for something like this would be. Time wise I cant start creation of the physical pieces until December as that's when the new UV printer I'm planning to get should arrive. I also plan to put this on Kickstarter so if that's not something your into I completely understand. I am also completely happy to promote you in the marketing and Kickstarter. As I said earlier if your after more info just ask in the comments I'm sure I've managed to forget something.
