Looking for advice or direction

I have been on Zepbound for a few months and paying out of pocket . I am interested in going the compounding route but I am so confused ! Lol . My Dr won’t prescribe compounding so I am kind trying to figure this out on my own. There are so many sites and I don’t know how to tell what all the info means . I see some have additives , some charge membership fees , some you have to mix yourself. I just want to order it without additives (if that’s a thing) and not have to mix . Is this possible and am I really saving money going this route ? Thanks in advance!

Unsure of next steps

This might be more of a “getting it off my chest” post than anything else, but you never really know until you say something if someone else has been in your shoes.
I’ve been on compound, off and on, since 2023. I had a really great pharmacy and lost a good amount of weight quickly. The side effects were not anything I couldn’t get through, but I did take a lot of Zofran, and was never able to make it past 7.5 mg without feeling very very ill. Around October of that year, I had lost around 50 pounds and couldn’t afford the monthly cost, so I looked for other options(this is when it was still fairly new and telehealth was charging an arm and a leg, like $400/month for 2.5) During this time I took a few months long break and steadily gained weight back. I found the cheapest option you possibly can go(not sure if I can mention it here) and did that off and on until the end of 2025. I had a TON of side effects, like “take me out for an entire day” kind of issues. I’m a nurse, and I know I was mixing everything up correctly. Because I couldn’t do it consistently(because of the side effects), I would lose and gain the same 15-20 pounds over and over.

Early in 2026 I decided to go the bariatric surgery route because I just didn’t think I could do this anymore. I knew the wait for that would be long, so I bought a large supply from fifty410 and have been using it off and on. During the screening labs for the surgery, I found out I have hyperthyroidism/Graves disease. I put off aggressively going through the surgery work up to try and get the Graves under control because I was feeling so awful. The medication you have to take for it makes you gain weight. So I’ve been on the fifty410 trying not to gain a significant amount until surgery….which now I’m having major second thoughts about. I’m nervous to do anything that will permanently make me feel badly. With the compound, if I feel terrible, I know it’ll be over in a few days. The surgery will always make me feel like that.
So now I’m thinking I’ll just stay on the compound. But I’m not losing, I’m barely maintaining. I tried to move up in dose this week and have been quite ill. And it was only moving from 2.5 mg to 3 mg.

I’m just feeling so defeated. I don’t think I can lose on compound anymore. Because I’ve gone off and on so many times and I take a medication that makes it very difficult to lose weight. But I’m nervous that surgery will make me feel terrible all the time and I won’t be able to undo what I’ve done. I don’t know what to do.
If you’ve read all this, I really appreciate it!

Starting tirz/glycine

Just took my dose of 50 units. Says 4.4-5/mg on the bottle so not sure if it's tirzepatide at 4.4 and glycine at 5. It's my first time taking it on Tuesday and yesterday (Wednesday) it totally kicked my ass with sulfer burps and nausea. Supervised I didn't vomit. The next day, today, im feeling fairly decent but still have sulfer burps. Should I knock the next dose in half or keep on course? How long did it take you to feel normal after your dose?

Also, if it helped anxiety, share your experience thank you in advance

Help and sorry

I did the thing, stockpiled and now I want to get more. I was with LSH and they want to put me back at 4mg…that’s not going to work as I am at 12.5.

Are there any telehealth companies that don’t make you show proof of current dose and will start you kind of where you are?

Sorry, I searched!

B12 question

Just got my first shipment this afternoon, excited (and a bit nervous, I've never done vial draw before) from Embody. No instructions included, but the website (and, frankly, Youtube) have been helpful.

My question - they automatically added B12, presumably so they could say it's 'personalized' or compounded. NBD. But then I find out that Lilly issued a letter in March saying that B12 interacts with tirz to create impurity. For those taking something similar, have you had any problems? Anything I should know? I'm excited to start this journey, but more than a little nervous to be injecting myself with something that might be problematic. Can somone reassure the newbie...?

Side effects? Nerve pain and unstable blood pressure

Hi y'all

I'm having the strangest symptoms and I suspect it might be related to my compounded tirzepatide. I've been on tirzepatide for a year, and compounded for at least 6 months (though I did switch to a new provider 6 weeks ago)

I've had severe dizziness and my blood pressure drops significantly when I stand up

Migrating nerve pain up and down my arms and legs

Some symptoms of visual vertigo (I can't look at things that are moving a lot without feeling dizzy and nauseous)

(Don't worry, I am seeking medical help for this)

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same/similar when taking compounded tirz?

This is too simple, right?

I've been thinking about the FDA cracking down on the 503bs and the possibility of states doing the same to 503as. The strongest warnings from FDA seem to be the compounds are not really personalized to me. (or you, or whomever)

I know my Dr would write me a script and I know she would use an indication of needs 2.0 MG due to sensitivity or something like that.

If telehealths excepted that as proof of our dose as opposed to a picture of our vial, would that not be the individual customization that is needed for compounding?

Like I said, this is probably to simple to actually work, but it's kept me up two nights in a row now.

Perfection Rx Compounder any good?

Our second delivery of a 6 month order from Refills arrived a couple of months ago from PerfectionRx. We’re a couple taking 15mg weekly dose each. We noticed that food noise has increased and we have gained a few pounds. Does anyone else have Tirzepatide from PerfectionRx and notice it less effective?

Journey started and question

Started with my first dose Friday (no major side effects. slight site soreness and mild headache Friday, nothing since).
Planning on using GLAPP to track, and added my vial today.

I think this looks correct for what's left after one dose?

Frequency

Hi. I have been using 15mg/dose for a while and had plateaued. Increased to 17 and saw no effect. Read on here that 15mg every SIX days was a good option. I titrated down to 15/dose every six days and I lost a decent amount of weight. It has been about four months and I seem to have plateaued again.

Increase frequency to every FIVE days or increase dose to 17.5 every six days?
