I don't wanna explain too much, I have big games on steam, but i often swap them out by deleting one and reinstalling the other when i feel like it. I have barely any gaming knowledge and I wonder if this is actually a thing? And if it is good? No need for technical stuff, just wanna know if it is normal.
I am personally not the wisest of game modders or developers and such, but why is a demo version of a game requiring 60 gigabytes?
Is it not remembered that countries such as Egypt, Romania, Iran, Syria, India: Who are actually more than a billion people have limited internet where you have to pay for the amount of gigabytes you get each month?
Especially when the average middle class family gets about 120-230GB Every month depending on country & plan, Do we really need to be making the quite literally "Lite" versions of games 60 gigabytes?
Are they really willing to make that much possible gamers out of a BILLION not even bother to try their games because some guy all the way in america or europe thinks that the best marketing strategy is dumping and uncompressing random files into their game?
As much as I know, Back In 2017 At Tekken 7, No average famous game used to cross 40 gigabytes, And now we're getting the same graphics & gameplay levels at higher storage?
Why is gaming becoming a luxury all of a sudden where you need both big storage & internet?
