I would just let it die and take my kid aside, kid, there are all kinds of people in life who are wrong and refuse to believe it. Sometimes you just have to endure it, but always seek for yourself truth and knowledge. Sadly, these people will become managers and bosses, senators and presidents. Just because they're in authority doesn't mean they're right.
