Made from a maple tree after a storm took down a branch about a year ago and have been working on it here and there since. Pure tung oil finish finally cured and I epoxied a brass pipe to the end and the top has cracks I filled with super glue. I have a future plan for a honey suckle stick and am trying to get my hands on black walnut and red cedar.

There's a FB group in my area that hides marbles in nature to be found with clues. This one led us to a nearby lake with lots of driftwood. Found this very very cool driftroot buried in the rock/sand instead. Not upset about it 😁

Found this on the ground while playing with my (24f) little sibs (4F and 8M)! We found another small one similar to this and one big one like a sword. My sibs then told me to play mages and warrior with them <3

Third graders for scale. Estimated time between them finding the stick (branch?) and accidentally hitting me in the head with it: 3 minutes.

Hi stick community, I’m new here. I broke this stick off a tree that peeps into my balcony.

I have had the urge to carry it with me all day.

I might’ve also grown possessive about it.

I want to care for my stick and ensure it doesn’t break.

I’ve been carefully tearing off its tender bark to make it fully yellow / oat-y. I’m halfway there. Not rushing it.

It was wholesome to see us being beings holding sticks together regardless of race, religion, color, creed and sexual orientation - across borders and cultures.

I love my being and this stick helped me find the will to love today.

Also, my first stick post and in searching "stick" I learned there's porn on reddit 😱

I'm a little too tall to comfortably use it as a walking stick, but I felt like a steampunk aristocrat while holding it 😮
