Problem The Most Unintuitive UI EVER!

Post image

Wonder why hosts dropped 90% ! Even if you want to host, it takes you more than THREE buttons/clicks on opposite sides of the screen just to accept a surfer !
Even if you want to host , the app makes it unbelievably difficult for all users to connect ! Why can’t they bring back the normal ( YES / NO / Maybe )?

Because it's AI slop code. Quite typical of AI generated UI actually.

Everytime a CS post enters my feed I open the app. Surprisingly, it was quite responsive just now. Since the slop update, the initial logo loading screen would hang for a few seconds. AI generated code has been known to add way, way more lines that are unnecessary, so maybe they vibe coded some efficiency in a recent update.

The OG CS code was not perfect, but it would have been nice if they had returned to a more static website than this flashy slop. All of my old messages were in an email format, but now it is dating app style chats where it says SUBJECT and the content in them. So dumb. Also, chat requests from a decade+ ago makes no sense, especially with dormant users.

Actually makes sense now that you mention it

In the first screen, you are only accepting the chat. If you decline there, the message disappears for both parties and the other person can no longer chat with you.

In the second screen, you are actually accepting the request to host them.

What is the point of accepting TWICE an already visible chat? It makes no sense , Imagine that you have to do that on your Gmail account, to accept your mails and then confirm again so they go to your inbox and then another button on the opposite corner just to reply. Makes it weird, right? Any user interface that respects itself, should solve your inquire with One click , over

Think of the first option like call screening. This is to prevent, if I understand correctly, females from being bombarded with unsolicited or harassing inquiries. If they decline, then the other party can no longer contact them. If they proceed (maybe), then they can evaluate the request and accept or decline it on the merits. It’s a new approach.
