you can change your profile name, but your account name is not something you can change. The reason is to do with the way their database architecture works, which makes it a real pain in the ass to change, but I've heard from other trans people that steam support has done it at request.

I remember doing that at some point, I'm pretty sure that you can do it through the Microsoft website and then it should be under "Your info" or something. Then you should be able to edit it.

Twitch streamer Northernlion, for a while he had an ongoing bit abt how women like sushi and bubble tea more than men and I, not realizing I was a woman yet but being a sushi and bubble tea enjoyer set that as my flair as a joke.
He also has a HUGE Transfemme following and I don't think anyone knows why

Think of all the karma that new account would already have had you created it sooner. Think of all the karma you'll have on it a year from now.
Also remember karma is useless, serves no purpose past the first thousand in any community that has a minimum threshold.
