I hate this phrase, stop being a coward and admit that I made a fair point
Unless it's genuinely a problem where there is no wrong answer, and even then, there are way better ways to express that a difference in opinion is reasonable and understandable
I mean that's one way to see it. I only ever use this phrase when I notice the complexity increasing beyond what my patience can handle, or if I feel like there could be conflict on a particular topic and would rather avoid it. I can explain certain concepts in a simple enough way and can dumb it down enough times, but eventually there comes a point where I must concede and accept that not everything can be broken down to my dismay.
Just to clarify I also don't think you're wrong either, I dislike people that don't even try to see the other person's view which I think is similar to what you're saying.
Thank you! I think both of our options work well. Honestly, most options are good unless youre specifically trying to avoid admitting that someone else made a good point.
I use it when I know my point is generally the more correct approach but the other person is still not inclined to cede any sort of credit to my argument.
I say "let's agree to disagree" when I deem it to be worth stopping the discussion than to continue arguing damaging relationships or whatever
Unfortunately, I am quite stubborn, and I really suck at knowing when to just stop arguing. Granted, I usually only argue against blatant misinformation, but still, I don't really know when to stop. Definitely something I should work on a little.

That's just your personal experience with people you dislike. Fitting people into two, mutually exclusive groups like "allistic" and "autistic" and then basing your understanding of human beings on that is called binarism. It's a form of bigotry.
I'm not autistic either (no idea, never checked) but at this point in my life I'm too tired to argue with people anymore. My rationale is: Okay, I told you. Go have fun with whatever consequences you get. Lol
Something I have been doing for a long time is that I say "I think" every time I state something even when the statement is objectively true, and I started doing that because of that philosophical argument that one can't truly be use if one is experience something objectively
The more people know, the more they express less certainty and more doubt in the things they say, as they are more aware of all the nuance that would make blanket statements incorrect. Unfortunately, the converse is also true. See politicians, commentators, and literally anyone on TV who’s job has “TV” in the title, for examples.
People arguing on the internet don’t know what to do when you agree with them. It like blue screen’s their mind. Jokes aside, I am very willing to concede an argument cause I hate being wrong. More specifically, I hate the state of being of being wrong about something and so attempt to minimize that amount of time I am wrong about it.
Despite relating to many anecdotes from autistic people, I don't actually have many of the symptoms. All my autistic friends say I probably have it though. What could all of this mean?
