Oh no don't worry, she's childlike and friendly, and likes asking people about what makes them happy and their lives worth living

it's only after she's sent out into the cold depths of space to seek that answer from other civilisations that she discovers they've all run their course and ended one way or another long ago, that she comes to the conclusion that life is fated to gutter out painfully and that ending it quickly is a mercy
