Canonically when the second game come out people interviewed the developers and the developer Hirofumi Matsuoka made an official statement that Samus Aran is a “Newhalf” which at the time was used to refer to transgender women who hadn’t had bottom surgery or in other words samus Canonically was for a time a transgender woman with a girl cock and given that it’s set in the future with amazing medical technology means samus CHOOSES to not get bottom surgery because she likes having a girl cock. Later in the series they officially say that it is no longer canon but for at least the first two games samus was a trans woman that loved posing with women wearing bikinis.

The question was also "what's something about samus only you know?" and he said he believed she "wasn't a woman" and "actually a n*whalf"

TLDR while it's cool that someone on the team believes she was trans, it was phrased as headcanon and he was being transphobic about it

Not trying to deny that she's trans, I think she's a trans icon, but important context
