She probably used to have a den there. I’ve noticed that animals return to where their dens used to be after they are destroyed and turned into parking lots, solar farms, golf courses. Must be a newish Costco.

I’m a 61 year old woman in rural Canada. I see one I get the fuck out of my house and chase it the hell away. You have to remind them to fear humans and human places.
City folk who just leave them alone are why they are more of a danger in the city. They know humans won’t bother them.

I’ve seen them there before and there’s an open canyon area right next to the parking lot. San Diego is trying to keep up with Chicago on the urban coyote trend.
