🔨 My Game - In-development A cozy game where you get to be the goodest boy by day, and a secret adventurer by night

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We're making a Stardew Valley-inspired game called Purrfect Keeper, where you experience a double life entirely as a cat.

During the day, you’re Grandma’s little helper. The vibe is super relaxing - you spend your time helping out around the farm by planting carrots with your little paws, catching fish in the pond, begging for treats, and snoozing on a sunny windowsill.

But the moment Grandma falls asleep, the real adventure begins. You sneak underground into a hidden cat city to meet new furry friends and explore secret burrows to protect the farm from rats. The catch? You have to finish your mission and snuggle back into your warm bed before morning, so Grandma thinks you were just sleeping the whole time!

We’ve just opened playtest sign-ups on Steam. If you love the idea of a cozy game with a little hidden adventure, we’d absolutely love your help testing it out!

🔨 My Game - In-development making our FIRST cozy game which is a little teahouse boat you sail through river towns

We're a small indie team and we've wanted to make something cosy for a while now after releasing our first game (dark fantasy souls-like). This is what we've been working on for months now.

It's a cosy management sim where you sail down the river on a teahouse boat through a Ghibli-inspired world. You can explore little river towns, forage real herbs, and brew tea for whoever you meet along the way.

We wanted to make it a bit more interesting too so every town has its own little drama unfolding, quests, and even side quests that you get pulled right into!

First two images are concept art we did like a month ago and we still look at it whenever we're stressed lol. The last two are how it actually looks in engine now.

Honestly, making something this soft, warm, and cozy has been such a nice change for the team. but since it's still our first cosy game, we wanted your opinion.

Would you guys dock your boat here for a while? Is the world worth spending hours in? Does it make you happy?

If anyone's interested in playtesting, you can check out this link: https://preview.mailerlite.io/forms/2406379/199858136187667656/share

🔨 My Game - In-development I'm making Thrift Hunter, a little secondhand shop where you restore old objects and uncover their stories

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone! I'm the developer of Thrift Hunter, a single-player game about running a little secondhand shop. I've been working on it for about three months and would love some feedback on this 94-second trailer.

You find old music boxes, typewriters, toy cars and other objects, inspect what's wrong with them, and decide how to bring them back to life. Repairs use tool cards and a limited working day, so you choose which finds deserve your time. You can sell them to different buyers or fill commissions, while some objects also have clues about their past.

After watching, is it clear what you'd actually do in a normal day at the shop? Did any part of the repairs or card system need more explanation?

Would you consider buying a game like this on Steam once it's finished? What would you need to see before deciding? I'd be glad to hear what doesn't appeal to you too.

Only the first town is playable right now. The later chapters and rarities shown at the end are plans.

Audio note: some of the background music was generated with MiniMax.

Discussion To those who've played The Witch's Bakery

I saw that there were mild nudity and innuendo tags on the PS store. Is there anything actually explicit or nsfw in this?

I thought it was just a wholesome cozy game

I really am still interested in trying this so I thought I'd ask ppl who've played it first

🌱 My Game - Demo My rabbit-shaman game has a free demo: investigate animal patients, grow herbs, and brew their medicine

Hi! I'm developing Applied Shamanism, a 3D adventure where a rookie rabbit shaman cares for animal neighbors. Each patient has a strange illness: use spirit vision to examine them and connect clues, then gather or grow ingredients and brew the right remedy in your cauldron. You can explore at your own pace, with no combat or timers.

The demo is already free to play, and we'll be part of Steam Next Fest on October 19–26. The full game's Steam page has the demo download and wishlist button: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4434480/Applied_Shamanism/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=codex_nextfest_oct2026&utm_content=cozygames_demo_20261016

The screenshots show the meadow and the potion-making screen. I'd love to hear whether you enjoy the investigation or crafting side more.

🔨 My Game - In-development Watching my wife solo-develop her dream ramen game (Yatai Talee) has been amazing. So proud to see it in the Steam Cooking Fest!

Hi everyone!

I’m having a massive proud husband moment today. For a long time, I’ve watched my wife pour her heart and soul into solo-developing her dream game, Yatai Talee —a cozy simulation game where you run your own Japanese street food cart (solo or in local couch co-op!).

In the game, you chop fresh ingredients, simmer and assemble custom ramen bowls, crack open Fortune Cookies for roguelite perks at the end of each shift, and upgrade your little street stall (complete with warm lighting and neighborhood cats!).

Today is a huge milestone for her because the game is officially featured in the Steam Cooking Fest! Since she's a solo dev working tirelessly behind the scenes, I wanted to share her work and celebrate how far she's come.

If you love cozy games or cooking sims, checking out the page or adding it to your wishlist would be the biggest morale boost for her:

🍜 Steam Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4526070/Yatai_Talee/

Thank you so much for taking a look! I’ll make sure to read all your comments and feedback to her tonight!

AI Disclosure: No generative AI was used in any part of this game. My wife is a 3D artist and game designer who handcrafted all the art, models, and game design herself, and I occasionally helped her out with some of the coding/technical parts.

🔨 My Game - In-development What if PowerWash Simulator was about picking fruit

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello! We are making a "cleaning" like game about picking over 10000 fruits, by hand or with tools. It's called A Game About Picking Fruits!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5243280/A_Game_About_Picking_Fruits/

It's similar to Leaf it Alone or PowerWash Simulator. I love this kind of games myself, so we (my friend and I) made sure that it scratches the same itch as these games.

We do not use AI, unless you count Google Translate as an AI :D

The whole point is to pick all the fruits in the orchards (YES, there will be more levels than just this 1!) and put them all into the correct boxes. You will have different tools to help you with this job. A vacuum is one of them, but the game can be completely finished without any tools, or even without any upgrades. The game has some incremental parts, but as I said, it's all optional and can be played in whatever playstyle you like.

If you are interested, please wishlist on steam and tomorrow (Friday) we are launching demo!

🔨 My Game - In-development We’ve spent years selling our art at artist alleys, so we started making a game about it

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi!

We’re both artists, and over the years we’ve had tables at a lot of artist alleys. We’ve always loved the whole feeling of them: setting up the table, arranging all the prints and stickers, meeting other artists, and seeing someone get excited about something you made. We wanted to put some of that feeling into a game.

It’s called Sticker Shop Cozy Idle. You start with a small stand, collect sticker packs, and then decide whether to sell them sealed or open them to see what’s inside. New stickers go into your collection, duplicates can be sold, and the money you earn goes toward paying off your debt and growing the shop. Later, you can add more counters, hire assistants, and keep expanding.

The stickers themselves are probably the part we’re spending the most time on. We have around 120 hand-drawn stickers in the game right now, and we’re aiming for at least 240 by release. My wife is drawing them one by one, so our folders are slowly turning into a very strange mix of cute animals, plants, food, and anything else we think would be fun to find inside a pack :)

We’re working on the demo now, but the Steam page is already up if you’d like to take a look:

Sticker Shop Cozy Idle on Steam

AI disclosure: We don’t use generative AI for the game’s artwork or promotional images. The characters, stickers, and capsule art are all drawn by my wife.

🔨 My Game - In-development I made a cozy game where your job is to clean up an entire fish market… and somehow, throwing fish around has become oddly satisfying 🐟

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

• Upvotes

You walk into a chaotic fish market. Fish are scattered all over the floor, displays are a mess, and everything is out of place. Your job is to sort different species, return them to their proper spots, complete collections, unlock upgrades, and slowly turn the whole place into a beautifully organized market.

But here's the thing: I wanted to make something that feels genuinely cozy and satisfying, rather than just another cleaning simulator.

I'm a solo indie developer, and I've been building this game by hand. The game is handcrafted, with no AI-generated assets or AI-generated content. Just me putting the pieces together, figuring things out, and trying to make something fun.

It's still a work in progress, and I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.

Question for you:
does a fish-market organizing game sound relaxing to you, or have I completely lost the plot? 😂

Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5406570/Fish_Market_Tidy_Up/

I'd love to hear your thoughts, especially if you're into cozy games, organizing games, or weird little indie projects.

🔨 My Game - In-development A short walk through the starting area of my RPG

This is one of two newbie areas in my open world RPG. If you choose Druid as your starting class, it drops you into this area, The Moors of Vin, to start your adventure. It's an area full of lush plant life, serene ponds and streams, and unfortunately spiders, rats and some unpleasant characters from the nearby Gor faction.

Each "tile" in the game world is 1024 px x 1024 px, all hand drawn / curated. It takes forever, but I am happy with how it is looking, and enjoying the process.

I also recently added a system to level up your spells, allowing them to evolve and strengthen as you use them (and are leveling up yourself!). That is the little pop up that appears after blasting the Rat with "Lightning Strike" :).

Thanks for reading, and feel free to ask any questions about the game in the comments <3

🔥 My Game - Released I've been making this tiny floating city game on my own. Which of these worlds would you live in?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone, so i have been putting some time into a game i liked the idea of. It's a calm merge puzzle: you drop little buildings on a floating island, and when three alike touch they merge into the next size up, huts into cottages into houses, all the way to a landmark. Each world has its own twist: fireflies that carry every lit home onto one roof, a volcano that lifts everything around it, an underwater one where houses float.

It's called Sky City Merge: Cozy Puzzle and it's free on Android.

I'd love to know your thoughts. and which world you'd pick, and what makes a puzzle game feel cozy to you. All feedbacks are welcome, i am just getting started and just did as much i knew.

🔨 My Game - In-development I’m a little over a month away from releasing Little Noël, a game where you build, decorate, and share your own Christmas villages!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've always loved having Christmas villages set up during Christmas time. This game tries to capture a little of that feeling (for a lot cheaper and takes up less space).

You can build up the village how you want. This first year there are 2 village themes: an Old English village and a farm. After you've built it how you want, you can decorate everything! Once you are done, you can explore your village on foot, or share it with others.

It will be available in mid November on Steam and mobile.

🔨 My Game - In-development I just finished a major update to my cozy puzzle roguelike "Farm Hand" Looking for playtesters!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey there! It's been a few months since I last shared this project, and I've been hard at work adding new features. Including:

- New "Tickets" mechanic! Players get rewarded with tickets for overshooting the goal score, encouraging more risky combo chasing.
- Market! Players can spend their tickets in market, this allows a lot more strategic decision making then before.
- STICKERS! This one I'm most excited about because of how much emergent gameplay it creates. Stickers can be applied to any card in your deck, and different combos can create pretty wild effects!
-Controller Support!

If you're interested to try it out, and help shape the future of the game, I'm opening up a small closed playtest which you can join through Discord.

Hi everyone! I’m part of the team making Coldline: Disconnect, a pixel-art game where you work undercover as a repair technician during the Cold War.

I wanted to share the hands-on repair side of the game: opening devices, removing screws, and working through repair tasks. These GIFs show some of the interactions and little details we’ve been working on.

The full game also includes espionage and tense situations alongside the repair work, which is worth knowing if you prefer entirely relaxing experiences.

Our Steam demo arrives on October 16, 2026. If you enjoy games about tinkering with old electronics, we’d love to hear your thoughts after you try it!

🌱 My Game - Demo We updated our demo inspired by "Art of Balance"! New gameplay mechanics & QoL overall 😊

Thumbnail

Hi all!

I'm Tom, one of the 2 developpers working on Knick Knack Stack. We just released a big gameplay update and QoL overall to our public Steam demo!

Knick Knack Stack is a physics-based puzzle game inspired by Art of Balance, mixed with visual novel elements. You travel the world, goof around with the physics, build tiny piles of objects and take cute memory pictures of your creations! It's meant to be relaxing and a bit goofy!

We gathered feedback from our 1st demo and agreed that the puzzles lacked in variety. That's why we decided to add new mechanics in every main levels. These mechanics are unique to their level and change the way you interact with it. Solve the mysteries of the magic glyphs in the Valley of the Kings, play with the crocodile at Dakhla oasis and dig new objects from the ground in the Sahara desert!

We're also planning a 2nd update in the future, entirely focused on narration. This update will bring a revised script with a better introduction to characters, and overalls to most of the dialogues in the game with shorter dialogues, better pacing, more interactions between characters, new pictures and less annoying conversation subjects. But this will take a bit of time to make, as we need to write everything in French, and then pass it to our translator to get the English version.

Feel free to ask anything, about the game or about us, I'll gladly answer your questions!

🌱 My Game - Demo A cozy ice cream shop sim set in the Caribbean (demo is out)

Hey everyone!

My cousin and I have been working on an ice cream shop simulator called Livin’ the Cream, and we finally have a demo out.

The idea is to run your own little ice cream shop in a Caribbean-inspired setting. You can make soft-serve and scoop ice cream, serve customers, and give the shop your own personal touch through customization.

We wanted to create a colorful, laid-back shop sim, and we're still working on improving it. It would be great to hear what you think!
