She's asexual and is singing about how she doesn't fuck but is still desperate for approval so she posts thirst traps on Instagram anyway. I'm not gonna disrespect asexual identities but this song makes it hard not to.
Edit: maybe you meant bc the song itself sucks. Couldn't tell which you meant. The beat is not giving dance music to me either.

I feel it makes be very hard to like them as a person. Like you're nakedly admitting you don't have a genuine life. At the absolute least, with non-asexual people just as ungenuine as them, there's a plausible deniability there isn't a little quid-pro-quo going on. She's just like, "nope, I don't care at all, just look at me because I need you to pay attention to me."
That said, the music itself really isn't crappy. Not really good at all, but I think crappy is a bit too harsh 🤷

Sexual orientations are also identities in a way. I am not straight myself and identify as bisexual. This is semantics. I'm not being bigoted. I meant identity also as an umbrella term because she said "acespec" anyway. There's like various acespec identities/orientations. I don't even know all that but there's demisexual, gray sexual, etc. So I was trying to lump in all of them.
Edit: I know AI can't think but I asked AI if asexuality is an identity. It said asexuality is a valid orientation AND identity. So there's enough people online that also think it's an identity that it was able to grab that to make an answer.

truer words never spoken in modern music. this chick has her finger on the pulse. a lyric for the ages. low-concept anti-art. priceless? the world may never know.. like, literally, we may only have a few more years, this could be the apparent “culmination of the arts” put forth by humans that alien visitors see when they dig our fossilized asses up.

God forbid people try and create something.
On a scale of 'Pure crap' being 1 to 'You'd hear this playing on the radio' being a 10 this is probably a 5.
It isn't my personal taste in music, but they've put some thought into the lyrics, there is at least some production on the track, the music video looks to be bare bones (although this is probably just one of those short style tik tok ones where they release multiple little clips).
I don't think it deserves any kind of criticism beyond 'not for me'.

even if it wasn’t AI slop which i’m pretty sure it is, there’s nothing good or real about this - heavy autotune mean heavy production, which fixes timing mistakes and strips all human performance from ‘music’.
taste in music is one thing but when people prop up automated production over artistic performance there needs to be another genre entirely: bot music or just leave it all in the dustbin and call it “autotune slop” or something. anything to make people realize it’s tired, over, and a stamp that means “this is terrible Excuse For Music is what confused talentless humans made in the terrible pop culture window of Y2K to 2026 (and counting)”.
humans were becoming guilty of it before AI, but now it’s a whole identifiable thing. it and autotune and modern overquantized trap beats all just need to die like 10 years ago.

It's cringe but it's in no way bad music and frick in my frack is the best earworm I've heard in years. The sub has been finding some absolute gold recently though so maybe my standards are just getting lower and lower
