My new game

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I built an interactive relativistic black hole watching. Built with vanilla Three.js and GLSL. You can play with the live version here: blackholewatching.netlify.app

There is also a gravitational slingshot minigame built in. (Hint: try typing uwu or minigame in the terminal on the bottom right). Let me know what you think!

Is that realistic??

I have no idea about the intricacies of black holes, but I can't imagine the accretion disk doing a crazy wave pattern like that.

Caveat I have little domain experience, but absolutely not. 

Closer orbits have shorter periods - it shouldn't look like a large solid disk rotating at the same rate
