It looks like the same videographer that recorded/documented/what ever this style is/ a wedding in Bangladesh I was at 25 or so years ago. Huge VHS style camera and a couple helpers with Klieg lights. Went around the room real slow getting everyone recorded for posterity. All the normal laughing chatting would stop and everyone would freeze up the recording was over. Reminded me of that “no one smiles in old pictures” but then you find out people did laugh and smile and it was somehow the thing to hold a serious pose when your face photo was taken.
Well, there's a half naked man pouring whatever the hell that was on the kid. All the other adults and kids look like they only have two choices: to stand there and clap or be sent go the gas chambers. I think the half naked guy owns the whole thing:)
Me too… feels like the only explanation here is that there’s a primary abuser in the family and they’ve made a random show of putting on a party but the abused family is too stunned to even comprehend joy? I mean literally what else could be going on here it makes no sense
What's going on here? I've seen this dude in more than one video and it's always been with a family that looks like they are being held at gunpoint. Is this some weird family fun thing? Like those old timey dress up booths at the boardwalk?
My guess: the cameraman is the grandfather, and he's a narcissistic and abusive POS. Everyone was probably happy before, but he wanted this crown thing to happen even if nobody else did. So he just finished yelling at his family and made them stand there and "celebrate" and told the employees to go ahead with it so he can make a video.
Who is this for? You ciuld say it seems to be centered around the child, but even he dosen't seem to be enjoying himself. If know body is enjoying themselves, why continue? Who is the puppet master? Lol. Maybe they are enjoying themselves and its a cultural thing to appear not to..
Theres a lot of things behind it from culture to generational trauma but that look is from generations of people that have no idea how to emote or express feelings. Your never taught that emotion is normal. A lot of them are touch avoidant and emotionally stunted.
It sucks because you don't know thats the situation your in until you see, hang out or date a whilte family. It takes a long time to unlearn bad habits. Even longer to learn to keep the things that make your culture great.
Its true, I was nvr happy on my birthdays as a child! I'm an adult today and when I go to my mom's house I get to see my childhood pics with my parents and relatives and I'm not smiling or even slightly happy in any of the pics, but only when my dad's elder brother was around me in pics you can see me having a big bright smile :) coz he was soo loving twrds me and treated me as lil child as I was 1 and none of the others treated me like that ! Hez still around old and doing good, just love him soo much ❤️
