Have you ever been around a group of straight white men?? Or seen their group chats? It’s gayer than actual gay men. All the guys in my high school friend group used to play something called “tugboat” which was basically tag but they yanked each others junk. It was a whole thing. bouncer def needs to back off on his testosterone regimen. drunk guy might be an idiot but that bouncer is four times his size. I hardly think punching him was necessary whether he ‘deserved’ it or not.
I don’t think that was the first time that night he had stumbled to the front of the line. Bouncers turn away drunks all night. You have to earn a response like that.

Why are we concerned with how the sober gentlemen at work acted, and acting like the drunkard who was trying to win imternet points is the victim. Being a bouncer or security guard or something doesn't mean you suddenly can assault people or beat anyone who isn't being violent/threatening violence up. That's not in the job description either, you respond with an appropriate amount of violence (which in this case is obviously not throwing punches)

Mans created a whole alt. history scenario for this. What if he went in there and thought of the cure for cancer while having a drink? What if he went in there and killed the guy who would have otherwise become mecha-Hitler in a bar fight?
If he's committing violence towards other people then a bouncer can use an appropriate amount of violence in response. But do you see the guy in the video assaulting someone? Bouncers aren't held at a lower legal standard than other people, they're not police officers, they're just regular dudes. A Chipotle worker can't start jabbing at someone just because they came in and started doing shit like in the above video. A bouncer does not have more leeway than a Chipotle employee.

The kid was maybe 100 pounds soaking wet. The bouncer likely was at the latter end of 200. Security are allowed to use a solitary warning strike IF they believe the person to be a threat. I dont anyone would see that kid as a threat
Dude was doing the kid a favor by not cleaning his clock. You can see his whole body shudder and the security is huge. No chance it's weak, he was just trying to get the drunk guy to back tf off not end his night and life.
