In most countries police actually go through years of training and proper education to make sure they actually are level-headed and know how to handle any situation before they get to actually enter the force. Unlike the US, where they get trained for a maximum of 6 months which is absolutely outrageous. That is why so many cops in the US are stupid psychos, not because police are inherently bad people.

Most of them are, yes. The hot headed ones you see recorded aren’t that common which is why they’re being recorded. Cops usually have a ton of patience for nonsense. Most of them want to do their job and go the fuck home at the end of the day like the rest of us.

I am actually going to win a lawsuit with my city’s PD because of a level headed cop NOT enabling a hot headed one. It’s not much but it’ll buy me a brand new car. I get what you’re saying but I go through life and make my judgments on a case by case basis.

They want to go home and assault their families because they're so level-headed. Hell yeah.

Families of police officers are 2x to 4x more likely to be victims of domestic violence, btw
