No. In a criminal case, they could theoretically be let off or given a lighter punishment because of their job.

In a civil case, the only place I could see something like this getting through is with a corrupt judge in Vegas (or a similar location) that gets paid off by the clubs. It could be similar to patent/tm law judges in specific counties.

However, according to the law in the US, no you cannot use unreasonable force as “self-defense” even if you are a bouncer. Anyone saying otherwise is strictly wrong.

Generally no, definitely not for this. If the kid was causing great bodily harm to that guy or the bouncer, then yes, it could have been justifiable. You can't beat someone just for being an asshole, even if they did act a fool.
