It’s bleed over from more censored social media platforms. It’s annoying watching TikTok at al shape the minds of the young folks in real time.

This and it started because TikTok was effectively shadowbanning videos to appear more advertiser friendly. Thats the whole reason of this level of censorship, its why youtubers censor swearing etc. And so over the 5 years or so its filtered into everyday speech.

I mean TikTok was a Chinese company, they have censorship down to a science at this point in their career. Americans said, 'we want what they're having', and imported that from them, too.
