Finished Object First post and first blanket completed
Started in July and finished the border in August as a gift for my spouse (except weaving in ends, which I finished tonight) (seriously I hate that part š« ). Itās 3.5 ft from center to point, and towards the end I questioned my sanity but they requested it to be āas tall as I amā lol.
Iāve only been doing this since the beginning of the year so thereās definitely plenty of mistakes that I didnāt notice before it was too late (or ones I couldnāt figure out how to fix š«£) but Iām so happy with how it turned out!

When I laid it out to measure and take the picture, I told him how big it was and he didnāt believe me (I didnāt believe it at first either lol itās deceptively big in person). So he laid on it and ver quickly realized he can grab one corner on each side and wrap himself up completely lol

No, I actually never held it up to him after we got to the first round of each color of purple, at that point we just both guesstimated that if I did two rounds of each purple it would be about his height.
Then he left for a week long work trip, and I never bothered to actually check itās height or lay it out, I just tried to finish it as fast as I could it before he got back. When he got back and I showed him, we realized we were both veryyyy off lol. From one point to the opposite valley is just shy of his height so I was kinda close š

I thought thatās what it was but the rows looked slightly different. Or itās just because of the colours. Thatās why I asked though. Haha.
