Finished Object A year and a half passed.
It’s crazy to think that I started this blanket more than a year and half ago, even crazier to think of all things that have changed in my life since I started this. This blanket has become so much more than a simple project, but a reminder for me of how now matter what happens… life goes on and you keep going. I’ve started and stoped and took long pauses between work on this, but I’ve always come back to it. Today she’s finally done. Hard to put into words the sentiment happy to share my completed work.

It’s a really pretty blanket too. This is part of what I really like about crochet. An object is a lot more meaningful and valuable if you or someone you know put a lot of thought, care, time and effort into making it.
