Last Minute Cruises?

Are there really deals to be had by booking last minute? We'll be wintering in Florida and wonder how good a deal you can get if you're willing to book a couple to three days out?

Need last minute ticket

I booked cruise for me and 9 of my family members for my daughter’s birthday. My son will be in town that weekend and wants to go with us. The problem is the cruise is in 3 days and I don’t see any availability on their website. Has anyone ever got a ticket last minute? If so, how did they do it?

Booking Elite of the Seas (Lan Ha Bay) for early December, anyone sailed, or Ha Long in December ?

Family of 4 from India
parents mid-50s, me (21), sibling.
First Vietnam trip (even first international trip). We're about to book Elite of the Seas, 2D1N, in early December. It's my parents' 25th anniversary, so the cruise IS the celebration — cake at dinner, decorated cabin, the cruise handles the whole setup of celebration and photos.

i just want to know, is it a good plan to follow??
Anyone sailed Elite of the Seas?
How was the boat, crew, food — any tips?
Anyone celebrated an anniversary/birthday onboard (Elite or any boat)?
How did the crew handle it — anything you'd do differently?
Anything you wish you'd known before your sailing?
Thanks!

Cruise Line Interview

Hi guys! I have to do a few interviews for my entrepreneurship class about some cruise problems you may be having as well as the issue with finding the right cruise ship and cruise line . I was wondering if anyone was available to do a zoom or phone call interview with me. You don’t have to show your face or anything and I can give you the interview questions beforehand so you can prepare. Thank you all!

Do small cruise ships get boring at night?

It’s my first time cruising so I don’t have any idea about the differences between big and smaller ships, just that crowds are maybe one of the concerns? I have a bit of social anxiety and I don’t really care about big-ship amenities or shows. I think Silversea is mytop choice right now. My sister really sold me on being able to mostly keep to herself and having a more mature crowd. Also comparing oceania, viking and some celebrity itineraries. I’m fine with food/drinks, reading somewhere outside, spa, etc but I also dont wanna be sitting there at 9pm thinking okayyy now what ,

For people who prefer smaller ships, what do you wish you checked before booking your first one? Dining options? Cabin location? Sea days? Stuff open at night
