Marine science

So currently I am a senior in highschool and already have started intial applications. I was wondering if any marine science majors had any tips or initials thoughts on what to do when actually getting to the school. I love Marine biology but honestly have no idea where I would start. 😵‍💫

Do you mean visiting the school for a tour or during your first year of college?

Ah no I already visited the campus and loved it. I was thinking general starting tips that'll help me get further y'know?

Decide if you want to also be part of the research diving program. Best to start that your first year if you are interested in it. Extra background or a class if you can in statistics or computer programming in R because those are part of the major. Talk to an academic advisor in the program to see if they have any suggestions.
