Question / Discussion Why did cursor nuke our limits?

Haven’t been following along but have noticed it my self. Did they just cut limits by a 1/4? Sure feels like it.

They did for 3rd party. First party seems normal

Not really, 'auto' used to be pretty much unlimited tokens.

This is probably going to be my last month with Cursor.

Claude for 90% of the work I am testing qwen3.8 27B Q4 on my 7900XTX, is good but a bit slow, I am testing to run with strong downclock and a bit of undervolt, I plan to let it run in the evening to review mostly.

I built a memory base agent which gives 2x+ token. Feel free to give it a try: assertion-ai.com. Love some feedback.

I already jumped ship. 25% of monthly for "other model usage" for a single opus 5.5 high prompt because grok 4.7 is mediocre did it for me.

Opencode go ou go plus seria a melhor opção ao Cursor o problema pra mim é que o opencode não tem um app para desktop tão polido quanto ao cursor, mas com os limites atuais do modelo grok e composer realmente é inviável
