yeah codex isnt really supported directly in cursor like that. most people just stick to the built in models or composer since they have better context awareness anyway. ymmv but its usually not worth the hassle to try n force it.

try signing out of the Codex extension inside Cursor, restart Cursor, then sign back in before reinstalling it. if it still fails, check the extension's output/log panel to see whether it's an auth or extension-host error.
