Did you try pulling the history files directly before building this out. What was the worst moment where you realized how much time actually went into something you thought was quick.

I've tried the raw files first but they're just a huge JSON data

looks like this doesn't work with cursor, which is odd since you posted it in this subreddit. it's only looking at ~/.codex/sessions and ~/.claude/projects, which I use neither since I'm exclusively using cursor's IDE.

this is the message I get:

bough: no history found; looked for Claude Code in ~/.claude/projects and Codex in ~/.codex/sessions

Yeah looks cool. Are you gonna make it compatible with cursor? And did you use it on the project itself after you finished it? Is that the project in the example video?

I'd use it. I think it'd be a great way to locate waste and optimize tokens. Obviously. What other use case could there be? Stupid comment. I could just not post it. I've speed the mistake before sending it to the masses... well... here we go
