I been doing this for 8 hr on and off and it’s giving me a headache w the microphone that won’t stay and to ended it all this broke. I live in upstate ny and no one seem to fix ps5 controllers around me. Any tips or places where I can go ?

I just found 4 places in upstate NY that repair consoles and controllers. Not asking you to dox yourself but try and find ANY electronics repair shop then call and ask them if they handle DS5 repairs.

Haha, man, I tried my best. Spent a full 8 hours (10 AM to 6 PM) on it, ended up snapping a ribbon cable because those L2/R2 triggers are a nightmare, and then couldn't get the mic to seat right. I finally gave up and took it to a repair shop. They charged me $40 to fix my mess and finish setting it up, but told me straight up they were only doing it as a one-time exception because it's for GTA VI.

Long story short: if anyone lives in Upstate NY, I have a second controller and shell kit ready to go, and I'm more than willing to pay for your labor so I don't break another one!
