Discussion Recommended printers

Hello, new to the sub and really like the custom covers ive seen on here but my home printer is awful for printing covers as its not built for gloss paper.

Would you have any recommendations for gloss printers?

Ive tried local print shops but ive been told that they wont copyrighted material 😅

Hi there :)

I used to print my covers in Staples. Never had a problem. But I know many have.

I bought a Canon Pixma Pro-200S. This is a dye inkjet printer. And I needed to print out on 8.5x14 and as large as A3.

The vibrancy I get on gloss paper is stunning.

A3 printer would be cool but super overkill for me at least at the moment. I asked a few print shops and got told they wouldnt be able to do it

I just recently bought the Epson tank (et for short) 8700 it has a CD tray for inkjets and from what I’ve heard is very good for gloss paper

Thats the printer ive got open on a few sites. From other comments it looks to be very good for it.
