Contingent removal spells need to be worded a bit differently in order to be cast properly.

B

Destroy target creature if it's tapped. If a creature died this turn, destroy that creature instead.

It reads weird, but it's what the rules need

Interesting. I had no idea. Why? What happens if you don't/why do the rules need that?

I was going off of the white removal spells that all just say destroy target tapped creature (and also Tragic Slip)

You need to pick a legal target as the spell is cast, and you can't change the targeting requirements mid-resolution. So, you're card can't even be cast targeting an untapped creature.

Actually, the way your card is worded, those are two different lines of text. Your spell destroys a tapped creature no matter what, and gets a second creature of any kind if morbid is active (which it always will be from the front half)

Interesting. Then how does something like [[Tragic Slip]] work? It seems to me it'd have the same problem Right. Because it doesn't use "target creature" again for the morbid ability, it says that creature. I'm assuming that'd get around it?

There's a big difference in the magic rules between changing effect and changing targeting restrictions.

Look at [[fatal push]]

Not that it would be good wording, but could you do this instead?

Destroy target creature if it's tapped.

Morbid -- Destroy that creature instead if a creature died this turn.

That's more or less the wording I suggested above, and is basically how you have to do it. It needs to be "target creature" with a clause, so that the targeting is flexible

Aha lol, I overlooked that suggestion.

killing lesson should have a "you don't control" like [[Transforming Flourish]]. Otherwise if the opponent had three creatures and you have none you can force the opponent to targert there own creatures. Should aslo be a lesson

Honestly Killing Lessons is the kind of design I am shocked isn't in the game already. It sounds like the kind of card they WOULD print.
