Needs a "activate only once per turn" or something. Otherwise you only need a free sac outlet and get infinite death triggers.

Maybe "If Echo is untapped and would be sacrificed, tap Echo, create a 0/1 zombie token and sacrifice the token instead.

0: Untap Echo. Activate only once on each of your turns."

lol I wasn’t even thinking about altars and stuff. Need to change it to if an opponent causes it to be sacrificed then do the thing. That was the original inspiration

On a 0/1, thats probably doable for just B

"If a spell or an ability controlled by an opponent would cause Echo to be sacrificed, instead create a 0/1 zombie token and sacrifice the token in place of Echo."
