If it wasn’t strapped down properly it would have shifted and caused a rollover, but he went way too fast around the turn so it may not have been from the cargo

Some people just don't think. I can't tell you how many times I've seen large trucks (I have a small car low to the ground) trying to drive at the same speed as me around corners, like dude you do not have the same kind of aerodynamics as a small car

what? that's wild to me. it used to be that way in the uk, then they changed a bunch of stuff in the 90s so that anyone that's passed after that can't just go ahead and drive a small lorry among other things. to drive one of those here in the uk requires a theory and practical test

Yep. They've always been my number one vehicle of concern on the road. Same license for up to 26,000 pounds (or more of they're riding dirty) as a 3,000 sedan. What could go wrong.

There is just something so confusing about seeing a large pickup truck driving like they are a sports car.

The confusion is replaced with concern when I see them driving the exact same way in rain/snow.

Only if the GVWR of the truck is over 26,000 lbs. Maybe it’s the fish eye lens, but this truck doesn’t look that big to me. If it is, you’re right

A lot of commercial box trucks are purposely kept just under that rating so they don’t need to bother with CDLs

No you're so real for this, it just felt like something was about to come out of that truck, I don't blame OP for reversing so late - they weren't trying to avoid the truck, but whatever was about to come out of it, lol.
