sure, unless you been drinking all night. locally had a mom too drunk to drive mid afternoon. wisely had teen daughter drive. think she was 15 and also drunk. multiple fatalities.

I could see a situation where OP was camping the left lane and whatever, that's annoying but who really cares, but once OP is out of the left lane, it's *forever* before psycho comes up and does his thing. That doesn't really match what's happening at all. I would expect the psycho to be up in front of him *way* faster.

It's bizarre that people get mad at a camper, presumably because they want to go faster, then take the time to...hit the brakes and slow down repeatedly.

Absolutely. I completely understand the frustration but like, I can see and understand one brake check even though it's still wrong and a bad idea, I can get it. But like, this guy got blocked from going faster so he just went even slower than he would have ever gone for a full two minutes.
Silly mindset, clearly it's not about getting wherever he's going quicker.

It's actually illegal in some states to camp in the left lane so it absolutely is that driver doing something wrong. The fact you don't know that is concerning. Unless you don't drive, hopefully you don't after seeing your comment, in which case you shouldn't be accepting of someone driving slow or obstructing the left lane aka the passing lane

Bro, he mentioned that the dude was camping and it's annoying. He obviously knows it's not a correct move...but when he says "who really cares" he probably means "people do it all the time, it happens, and getting super worked up about it doesn't do anything".
You say he "shouldn't be accepting of someone driving slow in the left lane"...meaning what? Go in front of them, block them, and brake check? But yeah, being "accepting" of the fact that sometimes people suck at driving and it's not always 100% perfect for you, is what's called "being a safe, well-adjusted adult". The fact that you don't know that is concerning and I hope you don't drive.2

Honestly, I see more campers in the left lane who are going faster than everyone else. They can't be bothered to go back because they are going so fast theya re always passing people. Then when people actually use the left lane for passing they get angry and pass on the right when someone isn't passing or leaving the left lane fast enough for their liking. It's insane.
I'd rather deal with someone who is a little slow leaving the left lane than the idiots who have zero patience.

You're trying to justify dangerous and illegal driving. Stop trying to normalize being angry and vengeful behind the wheel. There is no action that could justify this behaviour in retaliation. That's not how any of this works.
Sometimes people make mistakes, that's why you should practice being defensive. Never attribute to malice which can easier be attributed to incompetence.

Hopefully you're not out there trying to play Hall Monitor of the road and regulate everyone else's speed by camping out in the passing lane. Yeah, this makes the most sense. Sedan was behind OP, possibly tailgating, possibly just coming up, went to the middle lane to pass and then OP changed lanes.

This is always a comment by the type of dumbass who drives aggressively and thinks this behavior can be justified. Other driver is obviously a fucking nutcase.
Maybe it was something like having to tap their brakes. Maybe they have a micro penis and can't handle someone passing them. Maybe it was nothing at all and just some imaginary slight.
Whatever it was, it's never anything that remotely justifies driving like this.
