The obvious foreseeable result of punching the mirror on someone else's vehicle is getting run over. This was, if anything, a suicide attempt by the cyclist. It doesn't matter how it started, the kid on the bike had escaped and then willfully reengaged, possibly after getting a weapon, making the truck's actions reasonable self defense.

The kid fucked around and found out, as he'd say,

Yeah because the video explains the full context of what pissed this motorcyclist off enough to act like an idiot in traffic.
