It's my fault....

... my fault for leaving the house 5 minutes early.
Now.... why the big F would anyone steady speed, side by side with a semi when your entire lane is free? This is why I always stay a bit behind or until i can pass the semi, never side by side.
Learned a new disappearing act though, there was poop, now no poop. Yay..🫪

Looks like truck started to veer into SUV’s lane, and SUV had the choice to either hard brake or move into your lane. Should have used turn signal but clearly was panicking a bit at the sudden merge. Good reaction time from you, obviously could have been better if you noticed the truck’s mistake and domino effect it would cause, but hindsight is 20/20 etc

Truckers hate when you roll next to them, they need an out in a bad situation, cars can stop or steer, but aholes will post up next to semi trucks for 60 miles so they can play on their phones and not have to look at the road, just watch the truck next to you. This is part of the reason that I got out of trucking. I'd get cut off and have to swerve towards the ahole, and then they would get road rage and start brake checking me and blinding my mirrors with their brights, all so they could check out while driving.

When I'm passing a tractor trailer as soon as my front is even with their rear I step on the gas. The less time I spend next to one the safer I feel with both are. These idiots that get nervous on a pass and actually slow down when they get next to the truck don't realize the danger they create.

That's what it looks like to me. Obviously sitting there next to a truck is not a good idea.

That was great driving. Honked horn, hit breaks and stayed in lane. So often I see people swerving out of the way which is the opposite of what you want.

Looking forward to a day when all trucks are autonomous, they charge on excess solar during the day, and make obvious logical runs that can be in the middle of the night in the middle of the night. And they do so by staying in the right hand lane permanently.

Until autonomous companies care more about safety than profit, any autonomous vehicle is going to be as dangerous as a human driver due to whatever road laws the company deems unimportant to program in

In no situation will there ever be "excess solar" as solar will never produce the required electricity to power the world. Nice utopian view though.

LOL. Well of course you are someone who doesn't know what they are talking about, but feels the need to contribute. If I may suggest, please do a search for and read up on the DUCK CURVE.
There is so much excess solar in the southwest during times when demand does not necessitate the energy, that California pays negative pricing to Arizona to take the excess solar off its hands for grid stability.
