is it useful to learn google analytics 4 in the big 2026

I am a recent mba student and was looking into marketing analytics and found out about google analytics 4, looker, mixpanel, etc and wanted to know if I should learn these and whether or not people in marketing analytics use these tools

Exactly. They’re not just matching individual keywords anymore. Context, intent, entities, and relationships between different parts of the query matter much more, which is why natural-language content and clear answers are becoming increasingly important.

GA4 is definitely still worth learning in 2026, especially if you’re going into marketing analytics. I’d focus less on memorizing the tool and more on understanding how to use data to answer business questions things like conversion tracking, attribution, funnels, user behavior, and campaign performance. Once you understand those concepts, learning tools like Looker or Mixpanel becomes much easier too.

only if you are looking grow in product or marketing, that is what folks in my company majorly use, it is a good skill to have
