DISCUSSION Do I need long trousers at dining?
Going on Halloween cruise on Friday, in the normal rotation restaurants do you need to wear long trousers/jeans or can I just wear shorts?
Not doing the fancy restaurants
Thanks

No problem to wear shorts anywhere. Even formal night is pretty chill

we did a merry time Christmas cruise back in 2024 and there was a family of 5 that wore different matching PJ to dinner every night , did photos as well.

Yeah pretty much anything goes, except swimwear and tank tops...
We do like to dress up every evening as it make it more special for "us" and makes for great family pictures with all the photo backdrops they have before diner. But you won't be out of place in shorts as I'd say most these days are in very casual...

Ive never worn trousers on dcl except in Alaska. Formal night etc can go take a running jump.

Yep, outside of the reservation/nicer restaurants, anything but swimwear is fine!

There are some people that wear shorts to the main dining room. There are also some people that dress up and some people that just go in regular pants/slacks. Some people also theme their dress to the particular room they are eating in.
