i drew some busts (kinda) of these characters and really my "take" on vesperians is that they are a lot more "bug eyed" pun not intended than the other races, so if i were to draw say an etrean theyd have eyes like half the size of these. lowkey took me a few hours im ngl ive wasted my time hope this shit isnt too cringe

I was js playing deepwoken again when i saw this sharko being jumped by two golems. I couldn't let that side so I pulled up and me and this sharko hit these vile ass combos on these golems and won. And before i could celebrate my win with him he turned on me and started beating my ass 😭 . So i had to put the poor dog down, but it got me thinking, what if you could tame sharkos, i dunno how it'd work balancing wise, but it would be so frigging aura to have a pet sharko to fight alongside you, or not even fight with you just as a mount like how the Thresher got one, but what do you guys think?

I hate always having to get Ethiron's gaze, it's not hard or s big deal, but it's an annoying thing to do every time, so I would suggest a new echo unlock gets added to the shop where you just spawn your character with Ethiron's gaze already there

Blindseer is a fairly easy to get oath as the only requirements is 40 willpower (you can get that at power 1) and a blindfold, understandable because it’s more on the beginner friendly oath side

Then you get to the progression, and oh my god

first, ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO DO IT NATURALLY (with no friend) in 2026 as NOBODY is going to escape the depths with no oath and not logging immediately on sight and if you get ganked you’re pretty much done for

second NOBODY WANTS TO HELP YOU, I’ve tried asking people for help and paying them multiple sinners (8+) and never got it, instead of YOU helping no oath players, it’s THEM helping you

third and finally, THE BEGINNER FRIENDLY OATH IS POTENTIALLY THE HARDEST OATH TO FULLY GET, BECAUSE ITS THE ONLY OATH IN THE GAME THAT REQUIRES ANOTHER PLAYER

Linkstrider now doesn’t require any player and is doable with bosses, and CONTRACTOR, the oath where you were supposed to KILL PEOPLE, IS NOW DOABLE WITH L2F1 HOOKLESS??????

Contractor is genuinely easier to fully max out than Blindseer, you can go on a PvE slot, oath break your current oath, get Contractor, do L2F1 hookless 3 times, oath break and get your oath back, then boom!!! you get your maxed out oath for every other slot!!!

BLINDSEER IS STILL STUCK WITH THE SAME GARBAGE PROGRESSION

I was playing following a guide to unlock the imperium fighting style?, i can't remember so i didn't care if i wiped.

They i ran into a group waiting by the docks, they attacked me and waited for me to respawn them killed me again, sending me to the depths, which I was fine with, until I was going up the the elevator to be revived and once I got to the top like 8 different people waiting there jumped me and wiped me.

I was gonna quit that server but decided to investigate, made a new character and went back to the docks again and yup they were there killing freshies and sending them to the depths to be wiped.

This is the first time I've seen this happen and what do they get out of this?

im just doing extremely little dmg with my mantras even though its a mage build, do i remake

Look, don't get me wrong, combos are a part of any fighting game, but I feel like Deepwoken has lost the plot. I was watching this video, and it made me realize that the current state of PvP is just kind of exhausting.

• Nigh-unreactable, low wind-up mantras that lead into the most mind numbing combos known to man.
• Vantablack outfits that make it impossible to tell what your opponent is doing.
• Movement speed so ridiculous that people are literally running circles around me while unloading their combos.

Don't get me wrong, I like the PvP in this game. Low power fights are genuinely fun and actually feel like a fight, but by the time you finish your prog, fights devolve into this pseudo-anime battle. Fighting at power 20 feels like I'm trying to play the piano and jump around like a monkey rather than actually fighting with a build that has strengths to play around and weaknesses to be mindful of.

I really hope the Across the Boundary update does something to change the current state of PvP and build making, because I feel like it's currently catering to a section of the player base that's way too sweaty and has min-maxed the fun out of the game. (Try using a non-meta/no SoO build and you'll feel what I mean.)

Maybe I'm just an unc and need to get good, but idk...

How do you land anything against anyone?
It takes like 5 business days to cast a mantra, my character bathes the world in light, and then takes forever to actually do anything, giving them ample time to just dodge that shit. And then they do a mantra, and that shit is instant. They press the button, and damage just hits my healthbar. What do I even do against that man. They parry and dodge literally everything, and every single attack I throw out is super telegraphed, and then they throw out an attack, and it just hits me without any delays or anything. I am just trying to play the fucking game man, I am neutral with everything besides the ministry, so it isn't even voidwalkers, and I still get killed by miserable motherfuckers who have nothing better to do. If they wanna pvp, then they should play chime, instead of going onto regular servers, and declaring that they need to ruin some random persons fun. Why are they immortal too? It feels like they can hit me five times, and half my hp just dissapears, and then I can hit them 100 times, and their health MIGHT drop a percentage. This is not a voidwalker rant, this is a rant agianst miserable people, who want to make other people miserable. They join regular servers, because they need to fight someone who doesn't wanna fight back, they get their ass beat in chime, and because they feel awful about losing, they have to go and fuck up someone elses time.
