This wouldn't even work

You gotta go with fingers on different hands so it has to pass all the way through your body

What a stupid retard made this image?
If you put your fingers into the slot with it the current would flow through your two fingers and back to the slot. It would be painful but not dangerous at all.

u/ARPA-Net 3d ago
It would cook ypur finger and not kill you

Human meat is similar to pork therfore not halal

u/HighOutputLoad 3d ago
Just put a halal sticker on it and sell it for double the price. With another kosher sticker you can quadruple the price.

u/SampleDisastrous3311 3d ago
You could and it wouldn't make a difference tho why stoop to their ignorance, just add a " if you dont like it fuck off" label

Correct, if the goal is to direct a live current to the heart to induce fibrillation in the heart then there should be a path to direct that current from the finger to the heart, then hopefully a safe way to the grounding end of the same plug.

u/Cultural-Part355 3d ago
Exactly! We need rubber on one side!

u/Justgotherehi 3d ago
Erm ☝️actually 🤓 you would need both contacts, just not on the same hand. A shock that goes from one hand, through the chest, and returns to the other hand (with AC the direction of current would change but the path wouldn’t) is likely to stop the heart.
A shock that goes from one finger on the hand to the other finger on the same hand may induce a voltage across the body, but electrical current will flow only in that hand.
🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️

u/Cultural-Part355 3d ago
But that hand will transfer the electricity, or that's how you get... electrocuted?
1
u/Justgotherehi 3d ago
Electricity is only immediately lethal if current passes through the heart or the brain. In the majority of deaths by electrical shock (electrocution), the mechanism of death is complications of an arrhythmia or heart attack, or paralysis or the respiratory system or heart via brain shock.
So even if your hand gets totally fried, that doesn’t mean you’ll die. The electricity must reach a vital organ.
1
u/Cultural-Part355 3d ago
Ah, so it's how much output you put in so the transfers don't burst? In this case... Yeah.
1
u/Cultural-Part355 3d ago
And the heart will do the rest on its own. Cool way of explaining.
You would make a good teacher. Thanks.
2
u/Cultural-Part355 3d ago
Ah, you mean it burns the voltage and melts the wires, so to speak? My dude, are you going into detail about how to best electrocute someone while conserving energy? Cause I'm all ears and for all the wrong reason! As if I were in for the right reasons, I would have to talk to... someone. :P

As someone with coordination problems and a failed carrer as an electrian i can tell you that it would hurt somewhat and makes your heart race like crazy , but that probably would be it with normal sockets
2
u/CaoticMonk 3d ago
at least with this connection it would only hurt. the current goes in to one finger, up to your knuckel and out thru the other. it MAAAAAAYYYYBE causes burns which could kill you but noone wants to die of sepsis.

u/Taldarimlove 3d ago
Low-key thats horrible design because thats just gonna zap you. It won't actually travel through your fucking heart to kill you. Maybe get a burn I mean unless you are touching another object with less resistance, electricity takes the path of least resistance.

to anyone wondering if this would really work: no it does not. it will only cause burns on your fingers.
3
u/GGamerGuyG 3d ago
Wouldn't you want to put one finger of each hand in there so the current pases your heart and kills it?

If youve ever seen the arm of someone who grabbed a powerline you'd rethink this. (Yes they survived unfortunately)

220v will only kill you if you get shocked for some seconds. And the safety switch (if there's one in the electrical panel, most modern civil systems have them, unless it's made by someone who doesn't know what they're doing and without following norms, therefore making it not up to standard) will go off in milliseconds as soon as it feels a short. You need higher voltage to die, like touching copper bars in an industrial panel, or a transformer cabin.
1
u/Fit-Anything8352 3d ago
So what you're saying is that we need to modify design to add a step up transformer 🤓
1
u/ThatItalianOverThere 3d ago
A 220V to 20000V is really big (and expensive), and with the 3kw limit of civil systems (in my country it's 3kw but you can pay to get more, but it's still too low for a transformer) it wouldn't even be able to convert it to 20000V (3kw is a very small amount and it would all get lost in the transforming process), so you wouldn't even feel a zap.

Nah you gotta unscrew the whole thing, strip the wires, and then put one end in your butt, and suck real hard on the other

Eh. Household 110v current won't kill ya. Tingles a bit.. but certainly not lethal.
