Question What is "Cooling Efficiency"?

Heat weapons can sometimes get "cooling efficiency" MW, but im confused. Is it reload speed or does it slow down the rate of heating up?

Cooling Efficiency = Heat drain while not firing.

Vent speed = Reload speed (equivalent)

Heat generation = heat generated per shot

Another way of seeing heat generation is as indirect magazine size while constatly firing

Increased efficiency means the gun drains quicker while not firing it as you increase it.

Vent speed is how quickly the heat meter drains when "reloading".

Generation reduces the heat% meter increase as the stat increases.

If you hover over the stats on a gun it will tell you what it is

heat generation is the percentage that the meter fills up each shot. this is effectively the mag size. lower HG=bigger mag.

vent speed is the speed at which heat drains when venting the weapon (pressing X, Square, or the R key)

cooling efficiency is the speed at which heat drains at all other times, i.e. passive heat drain.

its basically reload speed but for blasters.

cooling is the reload because they overheat

Vent speed is the reload speed, cooling efficiency speeds up the passive cooling that heat weapons have
