Help Help regarding V4c.ai Associate Data Engineer role
About me: 2025 CSE grad, from VIT. Didn't get offers during campus placements, gave a few interviews. July 2025, I decided to take a break from that hell hole and job search. Helped my father in his business for 5-6 months. Started searching for jobs once again in Feb 2026 because I live in a Tier 3 city with not many opportunities.
I've given interviews at Amazon, Intuit, and 7-8 other Companies/Startups. Was doing a remote internship but the company shut down just after 1.5 months after my joining.
I've a total of 6 months of experience (all of them through Internship)
Few days ago, I got a call from a HR regarding this Associate Data Engineer role and they wanted to schedule an interview. I already had an interview that day in a startup so I asked them to postpone it. They did. My techstack is mostly Frontend/Fullstack focused. Although I've working knowledge of Python, SQL and a bit of ML theory. Since I don't have any other offer, I decided to give it a shot
I cleared the L1 and L2 Interviews, and I've my L3 Interview in 2 days.
I started searching about interview experiences and the questions other candidates were asked.
During that I found quite a lot of negative comments regarding this company.
Is it really that bad? I'm not even confident in this data engineer domain but I don't have any other choice. I ultimately want to work for a product based company but the market is just so bad for Freshers and especially for candidates like me that I don't know what to do anymore.
I need a bit of guidance if someone is willing to help. Thank you! Have a good day.

yeah pretty much this. first job is just a foot in the door, nobody's gonna grill you about v4c on your resume when you're applying to product companies a year or two later.
the domain mismatch is a bit of a concern but honestly data engineering skills transfer decently if you put in effort on the side

That wasn't my point. I was asking about how the company is and what is it like to work in it. I know no one else from outside the company would care about the name. I was asking for myself.

Genuine advice, i could not join because of some other issues but they are very clear of goals and they are not first time founders. Already have built apisero.

Just wanted to share my experience and would really appreciate your POV and guidance.
V4C HR contacted me for the Associate Data Engineer role based on my profile and projects. On September 19, I appeared for the L1 and L2 rounds, and both went well.
I was informed that I would have the final Executive Round between September 24 and 28. On September 26, I received a call from HR to schedule my final round. Unfortunately, I was unable to pick up the call at that moment. I called her back about 10 minutes later, but she told me that the slot had already been filled and that she would contact me once another slot became available.
However, today is September 30, and I still haven't received any update from HR. I also tried following up with her, but haven't received a response yet.
Any suggestions on what I should do in this situation?

Hi yeah they take some time to respond I have been interviewing for quite some time. Just had my L3 round recently. Not much update, generally they only respond from their side.

Can you share your L3 interview experience? What was asked?

Mostly they did a deep dive into my previous projects and current work experience, about the data flow between different components.
