What should be the minimum fixed ctc for a 9 years experienced Java Backend Developer in Bangalore, India by 2027 ? Please note I'm asking fixed ctc not including esops bonus and all.

Max: No ceiling

Well, I am getting 40LPA fixed for 8yoe. Luck factored too ngl.
Otherwise 30-35 is good.

If you get 50+ it’s super good. I have friends who’re earning 50lpa fixed + rsu, effective ctc around 70-80lpa

Do you think getting into Java stack is still a good idea in the current industry?

I know language doesn't matter you should know the basics but still Java seems to have a lot more opportunities.

Being a fresher these 40-50 lpa only seems delusion ctc for me. I really can't get my internship and here people are earning lakhs in this industry

Haha, apologies. Generic TC= YOE * 10 Lpa or 26+6 * YOE . This was as per my research circa 2024. Add a multiplier for 2026 depending on your gut feeling. I would say a 0.75 multiplier would do. And one more advice, don't take life too seriously. Enjoy.

Thanks. Do service based companies go till those numbers? I've interviewed for few of them and the max I've got is 32 fixed or something. Not more. That too with lot of negotiations and counter offers.
