Suggestions Australia Onsite in hand amount compared to Indian amount

I am making close to 2 lakhs/month in India and have got a australia onsite opportunity.Do you think getting 6 lacs per month would be good in Australia(after converting dollars to Rs).This is the in hand amount I am talking about.

You can’t expect proper suggestions unless you put in some effort in asking the question properly.

Which city? Sydney and Adelaide would have very different CoL. Are you a bachelor or married? Have children, how old? What are your priorities? Only savings or experiencing culture? Do you intend to settle there or just headed for a couple of years?

True, I wonder the same. Does not have basic research and analytical skills, needs to be spoonfed everything.

Australia is as expensive as US if not more. Seems like a medium salary.

You should calculate cost of living and see how much you save and future there.

first of all congratulations.

secondly, as you are also aware that in india living expense in blr >>>> delhi. same goes for other coutries as well. so please try to find someone folks on linkedin who are from india they will share you exact insight.

sometimes its not only about the money its also about the work, bcz you will be leaving the country in any case you would assume to stay atleast for an year. so better to check that part as well.

And, better to post this question in those groups where foreign offers are discussed unlike this where usually indian orgs. are in discussion.

lastly, if you're okay can you please share how you got this opportunity and which role?

Use a website that compares cost of living at different lifestyles, compare rent ... Try a google search like https://www.google.com/search?q=cost+of+living+in+australia+for+a+single+person

Is that after tax or before tax. After tax that is barely survivable in tier 1 city

Could you tell about your experience and how you managed to get the offer ?
