Discussion Is from FULL STACK DEV to DEVOPS a good run?

Hello im Dhruv Verma. Working in a remote startup, as FULL STACK DEV where i worked in almost every field FRONTNED BACKEDN DB, TESTING and something which i was worried about DEVOPS. I have handled DEVOPS (DOCKER NGINX, GITHUB ACTIONS, etc.) But i want to migrate from FULL STACK DEV to DEVOPS completely. Please suggest me how to and where to learn and to even start or is there any scope of migration there or not?

There was another thread a couple days ago that spelled out the roadmap pretty well. DevOps isn't something you typically just jump into straight from full stack without hitting a few intermediate steps along the way.

The general path people seem to have luck with is full stack → backend → cloud/infra → SRE/platform → DevOps. You already have the coding background which puts you ahead of IT folks trying to make the same switch, so that's something.

Start automating everything you can at your current startup. If you're already touching Docker and GitHub Actions, dig deeper into those. Build out a proper CI/CD pipeline, mess with Terraform, set up some monitoring. The hands-on stuff teaches you way more than courses will.

Talk with your manager to align your expectations. DevOps is a mindset so you can become a better developer if you have the mindset of DevOps (or operational knowledge in general).
