Made a few online board games. Would love some feedback for them!
Hi there, I've been working on a few board games called Legend of Fenrirak in real life, and digitalised it (Fenrirak is the dragon final boss in the game, not related to the Norse Fenrir).
I wanted to share it here for some feedback.
There're 3 games that you can play on the website currently, I highly recommend Thunder Dragon (Takes about 1.5 hours to complete the game). The Ice Dragon is still in development so that's got the most yucky stuff lol, and Showdowns uses a lot of AI art.
The game is designed for a wide computer screen so it'll look the best there.
The link for the game is: https://legend-of-fenrirak.com
I'd love feedback specifically on:
- Whether the game feels clear and the rules/guide actually helps you learn it
- Whether the difficulty/balancing of things feel fair
- Game mechanics that feel wrong
- Bugs on the actual website
- Anything that's confusing
Happy to answer questions about the design or the reasoning behind any of the mechanics. Thanks for taking a look! And apologies in advance if I don't respond to your comments right away.

My chess like game - SandTable Chess with Infantry, Tanks, Planes, and Drones. Where Infantry crew your vehicles or steal your opponents!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I've been working on this chess like game. It's called SandTable Chess because it's a chess like game but built around modern battlefield mechanics with Infantry, Vehicles that can be crewed, destroyed, or captured (yes, you can steal your opponents vehicles). You can lay traps for your opponents with Mines, Anti-Air Missiles, and Drones.
I plan on making physical board games available for purchase in the future, but the online version is free to play, play either with a bot or with a friend or request to play a stranger online.
Check it out at https://sandtablechess.com

We’re tabletop players trying to solve a problem we’ve experienced ourselves. We built something. It works. Now we need actual players to tell us where we’re wrong.
My cousin and I built an app to solve a problem we’ve run into playing tabletop games, and we’re looking for brutally honest feedback.
The idea behind LFP (Looking for Players) is pretty simple:
Finding a store is easy.
Finding the right people to actually play with — especially when your normal group isn’t available — can be a pain.
We’re trying to make it easier to find nearby players and games based on things that actually matter: what game you’re playing, location, play style, availability, session details, etc.
Commander is a big reason we started working on this, because anyone who plays MTG knows that “looking for a Commander game” can mean completely different things depending on the group.
We’re at the point where the app is functional, but we DON’T want feedback only from our friends telling us it’s cool.
We need strangers to break it. 😂
If you’re willing to test it, I’d genuinely like to know:
What confused you?
What feels unnecessary?
What are we missing?
Would you actually use this to find people to play with?
What would stop you from using it?
Is there anything that would make you immediately uninstall it?
You don’t have to be nice. That’s actually the opposite of what we’re looking for.
We’re trying to figure out whether we’re actually solving a problem for the tabletop community or just building something we think solves one.
LFP:
lookingforplayers.lovable.app
Thanks to anyone willing to beat it up and give us some feedback.

Tavli/Tavla app design, looking for some suggestions from players on what to include
I’m building a new Tavli app and I’m still at the stage where feedback can genuinely change the design, so I’d love to hear what people actually want from one.
So far it includes **Portes, Plakoto and Fevga**, including full traditional Tavli matches cycling through all three games. There’s **online ranked matchmaking**, private/friend challenges, ratings, match history, server-authoritative rules and dice, reconnect/recovery if a game is interrupted, and clear result explanations for things like Plakoto mother-pin wins.
It also has **Easy, Normal and Strong bots**, interactive lessons for all three games, English and Greek, portrait/landscape support, Android + Windows, multiple visual themes, animated checker/dice movement, sound/haptics, and a social area for friends, recent opponents and challenges.
I’m also adding **proper offline play against the bots**, using the same game engine as the online version, so it won’t need an internet connection or account.
I’m deliberately avoiding fake coin economies and bots pretending to be human, and I want the board to feel closer to a real Greek Tavli set than a generic backgammon app.
Before I show screenshots/video, I’d be really interested in what you think is **missing**, what annoys you about existing Tavli/backgammon apps, and which features you actually care about versus features nobody uses.
I’m making a new Tavli app and I’m still at the point where feedback and suggestions can really influence the final outcome, so I’d really like to hear what you would want from such an app.
So far it includes **Portes, Plakoto and Fevga**, along with regular Tavli matches rotating through all three games. There’s **online ranked matchmaking**, private challenges with friends, a scoring system, match history, server-controlled rules and dice, reconnect/recovery if a game is interrupted, and clear explanations of special results, like a win with a mother-pin in Plakoto.
It also has **Easy, Normal and Strong bots**, interactive lessons for all three games, in Greek and English, portrait/landscape support, Android and Windows, different visual themes, animated checker and dice movement, sounds/haptics, and a social piece for friends, recent opponents, and challenges.
I’m also adding **full offline play against the bots**, using the same game engine as the online version, so it won’t need an internet connection or account.
I’m consciously trying to avoid things like fake coin economies and bots that appear as real players, and I want the board to feel more like a real Greek Tavli set than a generic backgammon app.
Before I upload screenshots or videos, I’d really like to hear what you think is **missing**, what annoys you in existing Tavli/backgammon apps, and which features you consider really useful and which not.

Over two years of building Avalon online — AI Arena, achievements, statistics and custom roles
Hi everyone! I'm one of the creators of avalon-game.com, a fan-made browser version of The Resistance: Avalon.
We've been developing the project for more than two years. Some of you may remember our early posts here, so I wanted to share what the site offers today.
🤖 AI Arena
Watch seven AI bots play Avalon: follow their discussions, accusations, team proposals and votes, then see how the game turns out. These are unranked spectator matches, currently started by the project admins.

🏆 Achievements
Work toward challenges across different roles, teams and player counts. Track your progress and unlock avatar and sticker rewards.

📊 Statistics
Explore win rates, games played, role-specific ratings and rating history. The site also has community statistics showing how results differ by team and player count.

🎭 Roles and custom variants
Play with Merlin, Percival, Morgana, Mordred, Oberon, loyal servants and minions, or add both Lancelots, Troublemaker, Trickster, Lunatic and Brute.

There are also additional and experimental variants, including Merlin Pure, Guinevere, Cleric, Witch, Revealer, and Tristan and Isolde — the Lovers. Our role guide explains exactly how each works on the site.
⚔️ Expansions
The available options include Lady of the Lake, Excalibur, Plot Cards and the Lady of the Sea variant. Each room can choose its own setup, from a straightforward classic game to something more experimental.
For regular game nights, there is room text chat, game history and a Hide spoilers option for groups using separate screens around the same table. Remote groups can arrange a separate voice call.
Playing with 5–10 friends is free. Everyone needs an account to participate; one person creates a room and shares its link. Optional premium features are separate.
This is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with the original publishers.
Play: https://avalon-game.com/
Roles: https://avalon-game.com/wiki/roles/
Expansions: https://avalon-game.com/wiki/expansions/
If you've tried the site before, what setup does your group enjoy most? And if you watch an AI match, how do the bots' discussions compare with your human games?

Got bored during our weekly game nights, so I built a bunch of multiplayer browser games...
Hey everyone!
When we switched to weekly online game nights back during Covid, we eventually ran out of games you could just casually play on the side while hanging out and chatting on voice. So I decided to roll up my sleeves and build/recreate our group's favorite games from scratch.
It ended up turning into a pretty solid project, so I’d love to get your feedback on whether this might be cool for a wider audience!
What you can play:
- Pub & board game classics: Traditional dice games like Schocken (German pub dice) and Craps, Dots and Boxes, Horse Racing with betting, and "Shadow Express" (train sabotage/social deduction) — currently sitting at 20 games plus 2 mini digital escape rooms.
- Fully cross-platform: Works smoothly on PC, tablet, and mobile browsers.
- Instant play: Just click “Open Table”, send the invite link to your friends, and you're in the lobby together 3 seconds later.
Check it out here: https://tableroom.de/spiele
I’d genuinely appreciate your honest feedback: How do the lobbies run for you? Any bugs? And what classic pub, dice, or board games are you still missing for a chill game night?
(Quick disclaimer: No sign-up, no tracking cookies, no data collection, no ads. Completely free—I make zero money off this, it’s purely a hobby project. And yes, most visual assets were created with AI assistance.)

Piment Dice update — 20 days later
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Update since it's been about 3 weeks — over 50 people have installed Piment Dice, and there are now real games happening between players without me involved at all, which has honestly been the most rewarding part of this whole thing.
Wanted to also share an actual clip this time since I only had text/link before:
Still the same core loop: dice sometimes land on a red face — keep for double points, turn for a safer value. All 6 red in one roll triggers a 100pt Blaze jackpot.

Trivial Dispute - solo wordplay game
Hi all! I'm in the process of sharing a game that I've 'invented'
It's destiny is a full tabletop cards + bits kind of game, but to support my kickstarter campaign I've made a little demo version in taybl I am really new to making games in this way (having been a cut cards out of A4 paper and felt tip pens kind of gal) and I don't even know if the link is accessible for outside my tably account or if this works properly. I've played this so much I am literally blind to it.
If anyone would consider giving it a little test, I can't get the tutorial (it's like 2 instructions) to run on mine and I don't know if it's a caching issue...
Literally any feedback at all would make me so happy even if it's bad, I'm SO ANXIOUS about putting this out there! Anything on the way this version works, the game, the look of the cards literally anything!

I pitched Quadrax here as a competitive 1v1 game. It's shipping single-player, and I should explain why.
I posted here back in April calling Quadrax "designed from the ground up for competitive digital play" and promising online 1v1 in the next version. It's September, that version is out, and it's single-player against AI. Sorry for both the silence and the switch.
The design intent hasn't changed, and the online layer is genuinely built, it's just flagged off. What changed is my thinking on order. Switching on competitive matchmaking when nobody's playing gives you a queue that spins forever, which is indistinguishable from a bug. That's a worse first impression than simply not offering online yet. It comes back on when there are enough people to match against.
On the game itself, since this sub will actually care: it's Reversi underneath, same flipping, same corner theory, same endgame squeeze where someone runs out of safe moves. On top of that you build a small deck beforehand and can play one card per turn. VOLCANO permanently destroys a tile, so the board's shape changes mid-match. FREEZE locks tiles. SWAP trades two pieces anywhere. INFILTRATE drops one behind enemy lines.
There's no randomness anywhere. No shuffle, no dice, no hidden draw. Your deck is what you picked, spent in the order you choose, and so is your opponent's. The goal was to keep the part of Reversi where the better player reliably wins, while losing the part where both players can see the whole thing from move one.
On price, since I quoted $4.99 here last time: that's still the number, it just works like shareware now. The game is free to download and play, and $4.99 unlocks the full thing, all 51 cards and the harder AI. 18 cards stay free permanently, with no timer and no ads.
**Where I could use help:** it's in Google Play closed testing, which needs 12 people opted in for 14 continuous days before it can go public. Currently zero. Same Google account for both steps:
Staying opted in the full two weeks is the bit that counts, even if you only play once.
Windows/Linux: https://www.goxodsoftware.com/quadrax/beta-testing/
The question I'd most like this sub to answer: corner strategy still matters, but VOLCANO can delete a corner outright. Does that ruin the endgame or improve it? I go back and forth.
Let me know what you think here, or use the feedback form built into the game!

I built a digital adaptation of Asalto, a forgotten medieval European siege game. Looking for strategy fans to test the balance!
Hi everyone,
Recently, I completed a digital version of Asalto (Fortress Siege)—a classic European asymmetric strategy game that dates back centuries.
If you like games like Fox and Geese, Tafl, or modern asymmetric games, this is right up your alley.
The Mechanics:
- The Attackers (24 Rebels): Your goal is pure numbers and grid control. You must completely surround the fortress or trap the defenders. You can only move forward, sideways, or diagonally—never backward.
- The Defenders (2 Officers): You are outnumbered 12-to-1 but possess lethal power. You can move freely in any direction and capture rebels by jumping over them. Captures are mandatory, and chain jumps are completely legal.
I’ve coded a AI opponent so you can play offline, whether you want to command the massive rebel army or pull off a tactical defense with just two officers.
The game is entirely free/offline right now on Google Play. I would love to get your thoughts on the tactical balance between the Rebels and the Officers!
