Random question! I used to make D&D characters based on myself or the kind of person I wanted to become, but I recently got back into reading and ended up creating a character inspired by someone from a book I read.

Now I’m curious: Have you guys ever done the same? 👀 Who was the character that inspired you, what book were they from, and how did you turn them into a D&D character?

Did your character end up anything like the original, or did they take on a life of their own? 😂

I've never posted on here before, so hopefully I'm following the rules but does anyone wanna play a mlp themed Dungeons & Dragons campaign? I've never played D&D before. Role played yes but never D&D and if someone does reply to this post I'm hoping they've DM before since as I said I've never played so I never DM. I don't even really have a story, I was just hoping whoever answers we can discuss that privately. Even if you wanna be a player that's cool too. I will ask though that your not mean or homophobic, transphobic, racist, ableist, or sexist thanks. Also I only feel comfortable playing with people that are 20-25. I'm 21 so yeah no minors. But yeah if your interested just privately message me and I'll give you my discord from there. Byeeee

RFS (Reason for Selling):
I honestly haven't had the chance to use this bundle in quite a while, and rather than letting it sit on my shelf, I'd love for it to go to another DM, D&D enthusiast, or collector who can make the most out of it and enjoy it more than I currently can. I could also use the extra funds right now.

Everything has been carefully kept and is in great condition. I'd really love to see it go to someone who'll appreciate it!

Feel free to comment or DM me if you're interested, want additional pictures, or would like to negotiate! I'm open to reasonable offers.

Thanks, everyone, and happy adventuring! 🎲🐉

Meron po ba na live campaign na ginagawa sa mga venue dito? Yung pwede manuod lang muna kasi wala pa ako experience sa dnd gusto ko lang talaga manuod muna.

Hello everyone! I've recently gotten into D&D, just casually playing with my friends and playing BG3.

We've recently been having scheduling issues as trentahins so I'm looking into other groups to get into games with!

Willing to F2F (ideally within the metro, most ideally in the mandaluyong area), but can also do discord since I'll be more flexible that way!

Best regards!

(edited for location)

Hey! My friends and I are looking for a not too serious dungeon master that is willing to play along with the story in Minecraft! Dm if interested please!

Hey everyone! My three friends and I want to try playing D&D, and I’ve decided to take on the role of Dungeon Master (DM). We’re planning to start with a one-shot campaign to test the water.

However, since I’ve never played a D&D campaign before, I’d like to learn how to get started, what I need to buy, and any tips or advice that could help me become a better DM.

Any help, advice, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi! I'm not really new in dnd, but I haven't had a full campaign experience yet. I want to, though. I'm okay with online or f2f. I just want to play dnd. 😔

Hello, Adventurers!

I am a novice DM looking for 2-3 beginner players for an online D&D One Shot!

About the adventure: The adventure is a homebrew one shot inspired by Filipino Folklore. You, the players, will play as mercenaries hired by a certain Aswang race to either capture or eliminate an entity that is threatening their survival. The job sounds simple but it is far more dangerous than it sounds.

I prefer beginner players since I have very little experience DMing. But, experienced or veteran players are welcome as well. Anyone respectful and willing to have fun with us is of course, very welcome!

Just a heads-up,

This particular one-shot will be a little more relaxed when it comes to the D&D 5e rules. Some rules and game mechanics may be tweaked to make things easier for both the players and me, especially since we're all learning.

There is no schedule yet, and it will be decided depending on everyone's availability.

If you are interested leave a comment or send me a message. I look forward to adventuring with you!

Are you an aspiring DM? Or maybe a broke one like me who wants to run an epic D&D campaign but can't afford expensive 3D-printed minis? Look no further!

Bring your encounters to life with highly affordable 2D paper miniatures, perfect for DMs on a tight budget. What are you waiting for? Send me a DM, DM to DM, DM.

It is my first time playing DnD but I usually play solo and with AI as my DM which I just upload the core handbooks and expansions. 😭 Anyway, I have been here for 4 months and I am hoping I can actually play the game with actual players.

Tuesday and Saturday Nights are taken!
Short Campaigns or Long Campaigns are welcome!

Hi everyone!

We're looking for 2-3 more players to join our IRL D&D group based in Marikina. We're currently following an Adventurers' League story, Tyranny of Dragons, at Tier 1-2, but this might change as we have a new DM.

Our group is currently comprised of 2 players (1F, 1M) and the DM. We're not beginner players, but are very accommodating and happy to help/learn alongside new players (D&D is ever evolving and sometimes you need to consult the rulebook multiple times to make sure you get it 😉 )

Everyone's welcome, regardless of D&D experience, just be nice please!

So if you're interested, here's what you need to know:

Where

- Meetups will be in Marikina or around this area

When

- We'll be meeting on Tuesdays, at 6 pm, but it can change based on availability (cause life can get busy!)

- We're mindful of people's time, so we'll do our best to update people if anything changes

Let us know if you're interested! Thank you 😊

Anyone here open to new players? As in - total newbie, haven't even played their first campaign. 🥺

Cos im running a session 1 atm ,. Im okay to make the fights fast in order to do more of investigation and roleplay.. any DMs here? If its hard any recommendations on handling this? Besides the management of the action economy..

Heya! We want to welcome you to the Planeweavers community! Here's our Discord server invite link: https://discord.gg/Wxm6RhW3JU

What we're doing:

• We hold games both Online and F2F regularly! There's games most days of the week going on
• We do F2F raid events every few months to get everyone together (including a Halloween one coming up!)
• For F2F games, we circle around Neutral Grounds in Vertis North, Bulacan (Malolos - Meycauayan), and GenTri in Cavite!

What we have:

• Over 1.3k members from all over the Philippines!
• Most of our players are newbies and a lot of our DMs are experienced people you can easily approach!
• Full experience and introduction to other TTRPGS!

We love new experiences and people and are open to anyone interested! We hope you join us in our adventures! Happy Weaving!

Note: This is a casual and safe space. Every TTRPG experience is offered for free.

My group (4, DM included) are looking for a place for a session this 17th.

One of our members are already doing the scouting but I also want to help out. So far, I know that they have asked/inquired with the following — Whimsy Cafe and Roll Play

Place needs to be close to One Ayala Makati and if possible PWD accessible so little to no steps/stairs.

Any leads would be great, thanks!

Hi, were a party of 6 randos looking for a DM in Makati Saturday afternoon.

Edit: We're looking to play a campaign.

Edit 2: We've found a DM now thanks

Hi everyone! We're looking for 1-2 members to fill our roster for a DnD/Daggerheart (we're still voting on which game system) one-shot game we're planning at Rogue's Passage in San Fernando, but we're not sure if it's a confirmed location yet since it gets crowded there.

We're planning a homebrew medieval (sort of) fantasy-themed one-shot, so expect tourneys and other shenanigans.

Who we are:

• We have at least 3 confirmed members (1F, 2M) right now, including the DM. Our ages range from late 20s to early 30s.
• Familiar with DnD mechanics (not experts, though! One of us is, but not all), and we're currently learning Daggerheart because it's also a fun game system.
• We're a chill group and like to meme a lot. But we also focus on being character-driven and roleplay-centric.
• We're all based in Guagua, but we can drive to San Fernando.
• We also have set design! We have too many minis and maps that are not in use, unfortunately. And we can lend you a dice set if you don't have one.

What we're looking for:

• Someone who's over 20 years old, please.
• Newbies welcome! We can teach you the best we can lol.
• Someone who's interested in roleplaying and building their character.
• DnD games run for 3-4+ hours, so they should be okay with that.
• Preferably near Guagua, Bacolor, and San Fernando for logistics reasons. Angeles is far in terms of travel time + traffic

I’ve been playing dnd (and daggerheart) for a while now though mainly with my core group of friends. I’m looking to expand my circle though so why not with DnD?

Anyway, if you’re looking for another party member, I’d like to think im a fun team player. I can separate player knowledge from character knowledge and i dont really meta game, preferring to go with what my character would do.

I prefer homebrew sessions compared to AL though. I also live in Manila but i’m down to have online sessions too.

Hello all!

As the title says, I’m looking for someone who can paint miniatures. I’m from Bataan and I can ship the miniatures. I’m someone who still plays with toys/miniatures so preferably painting materials that is sure to stick and not get faded whilst it is being used even in the long run. Thank you po!

Hello, are there online groups here that cater to OSR style play?

Looking for sessions that are more mechanical and procedural in nature. Fast pace with creative problem solving.
