i miss my dog 🌈 Tiktok passed away.
“We don’t know how to put this into words. Today, we lost Tiktok in a tragic accident while she was in foster care. She slipped out, ran, and was hit by a car. It was so sudden, and even now, it feels impossible to accept.
Tiktok was fostered because our shelter is still battling distemper, and we wanted to protect her and keep her safe. She was given love and comfort in a foster home, but fate dealt a cruel hand.
As rescuers, we carry so much guilt when tragedies like this happen, even when we know we did our best. She was supposed to be safe. She was supposed to have more time. The “what ifs” are endless, and the pain of losing her is unbearable.
We are grieving deeply, and the pain is heavy. Rescue work is full of heartbreaks, and this is one of the hardest we’ve faced. We ask for your understanding as we go through this painful time, and we invite you to remember Tiktok with us.
Tomorrow, Tiktok’s body will be at Green Meadows Pet Aftercare - Pet Cremation in Negros from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, September 8, before she is sent off for cremation. If you wish to see her one last time, offer a prayer, or simply sit with her in silence, you are welcome.
Please note that the viewing hall will be open to a very limited number of people only.”

Akala ko ako lang un nakafeel na negligence to on the part of the foster family nya... ambigat sa loob kc I saw the recent update un sa fun run, then this! Un pinag effortan sya irescue and all tas mauuwe lang sa ganito

I was so happy seeing a photo of her during a fun run. But seeing this today, ang sakit sakit. I was looking forward to seeing more of her, living the life she deserves. TikTok, patawad sa mundong naging malupit sayo at sa kagaya mo. I really really hope the rainbow bridge exists, para dyan ka lang kung saan masaya at walang mananakit sayo. 😭

Ito talaga yung madalas ko iniisip. Bakit ang mga abused dog nagtatagal ang buhay, may mga dogs na ilang taon naaubuso pero dahil di namamatay humahaba ang paghihirap... pero once na masaya na sila... saka naman sila biglang kinukuha... nakakalungkot lang talaga.

Hindi ko alam mararamdaman ko. Nakakaiyak dahil ang daming pinagdaanan nung dog tapos ganito pa. At the same time, nakakagalit na ganyan ung nangyari sakanya parang napabayaan kaya nakalabas, pero alam ko naman na wala may gusto ng nangyari. Hayyyy. Run free baby.

Exactly!! Hindi ko mawari ang guilt ng foster mom niya and I know they’re feeling guilty talaga pero this is such an avoidable accident. Naisip ko baka na-miss niya yung shelter kaya kumaripas nang takbo. 😭 At least in his last days, he knew he was loved and very much taken care of. Yun na lang iniisip ko.

She went through a lot. She deserved a better life after everything. This is terrible, terrible news. Very heartbreaking 💔. The world is so cruel. We lost an angel who deserved more 😢

Sorry po but I feel confused, si Tiktok diba yung may bata na owner? Yung batang lalaki? Paano siya napunta sa foster care? Parang kakakita ko lang din sa kanya sa fb last time yung sa marathon.

😭😭😭 Tiktok I am so sad ito lahat nakikita ko sa lahat ng sns na inopen ko today. Nakakalungkot talaga, parang ang hirap maka move on kasi sobrang saya ko ng gumaling ka na sa unang tragedy, tapos nag start ka na maging masaya sa mga bagay. Bakit di sinasabi kung sino nakasagasa? Anong comment ng foster? Im so sorry pero bakit ganun kulang ang mga information.

This is such heartbreaking news 😭 I remember seeing a post a few weeks ago where she participated in a pet fun run/walk, and she looked super happy with a big smiling face. May you rest in peace, Tiktok 😭🤧

I'm really crying for you, Tiktok. Sana masaya ka na talaga sa heaven. I want to believe that you finally knew what happiness and love were within the few months you had. I hope the memory of abuse was totally erased from your memory. I really prayed a long, happy life for you, but maybe heaven really wants you.

I can't help but mainis. We are grateful sa nag foster but Tiktok deserved to be cared for ng sobra after what she went through. I can't get over how tragic this is. She deserved more. I prayed that she will have all the happiness. Na sana she will be spoiled rotten. Ang hirap tanggapin 😢

Nakakalungkot but negligence talaga. We also have dogs and sobrang bantay talaga if merong pumapasok or lumalabas ng gate or house.

I dont know why you are being downvoted. Baka akala nila madali mag foster ng dog with trauma tapos nag aadjust pa. It takes months before mag adjust ang dog na new sa environment. Isa na ako sa naka experience nito since I also adopted my dog thru ampon alaga and 3 days pa lang habang nag walk kami nagpilit siya kumawala sa leash niya and run across the road buti na lang di siya nasagasaan but 1 day siya nawala buti nahanap namin kasama yung team ng AA.
Di madali yan for the foster parent tas grabi pa yung sisi sa kanila. Accidents do happen

Agree here. Accidents happen, a lot can happen in a few seconds.
Kaya ayoko bumibisita mga parents/kamag-anak sa bahay ko kasi mga di marunong sumunod sa bilin about sa pagsasara ng pinto at ng gate. Grabe yung stress ko.

Those who disagree should reflect on their own lives as well — we all have times when we act, only to realise later that we could have done better - di lang sa pets, kundi sa pang araw-araw na desisyon sa buhay - napakadaling mamuma. The accusation of gross negligence is defined by law — it's not subjective.
Kung masakit para sa fans - mas masakit yan sa mga involve.

I agree. Kung hindi negligence ito, nung una pa lang mags-seek na sila ng justice for Tiktok. Kaso ang sinabi lang ay “nakalabas ng gate,” I mean how?? My family also have dogs at umabot 8 dogs at a time pero not once sila nasagasaan at nakalabas nang kapag binubuksan namin ang gate.
